What's bigger than Coke Red? Why, nothing. Except maybe . . .
When Coca-Cola purchased New York based Glaceau Vitamin Water back in May 2007 for an eye-watering $4.1 billion, they did so knowing that they were gaining immediate market leadership in the burgeoning 'enhanced water' market, and further strengthening their credentials in the health and wellness market. It's a market that's growing rapidly here too, and VW (as truly trendy types say) quickly became the must have urban fashion accessory of 2008. Now, as its name trickles out of the big cities into slightly smaller ones and it gains an official internet presence in the UK, Monitor Media is pleased and proud to announce that Coke has appointed us as the brand's digital agency on this side of the pond. We were also going to say something about making a splash, but you can take these things too far.
