We join with the rest of the nation in congratulating our remarkable Olympians and Paralympians - outstanding effort one and all. Adding an extra goosebump this summer has been an exciting Olympic promotion run by sports energy drink Powerade, conceived by their agency as a promotional website and built and managed by Monitor Media. Themed "Win with Team GB", participants used our site to enter unique codes found on bottles of Powerade. In return they were given an event and told when it was scheduled to take place. Then, if a member of Team GB won a medal in that event the participant would win a matching bronze, silver or gold prize. And win they did, in droves! As we all know by now, Team GB did SO well that we had to rejig the live site half way through in order to accommodate all the extra winners (which we successfully managed with no down time). We're now looking forward to London 2012, except for seeing THAT logo of course.
