FTSE 100 company Land Securities has appointed Monitor Media to completely refresh its core values programme 'Values Into Action'. Running under a single word theme - 'Inspire' - the initiative is designed to recognise and reward those members of staff who go the extra mile and who thus inspire other members of staff to really 'live' the company's values.
Land Securities rapid growth and strength have been attributed to many factors, but its people are consistently recognised as being of fundamental importance. No surprise then that the company should put such store in its standards and that it has distilled the essence of greatness into 5 key words/ phrases. More than that though, the company has long recognised that unless its values are properly understood and embraced then they will remain as just words. Hence the creation of the 'Values Into Action' programme and hence the need to bring that to life for all stakeholders (staff and key partners/ suppliers). From this start point, the job will be to build a website that allows clear communication of the values and then encourages stakeholders to nominate individuals and teams who, literally, put the company's values into action.
"Our task will involve striking modernisation of design ensuring high levels of accessibility, online nomination and submission forms, news updates, banner advertising, hosting - in other words a full service," said Robert Simmons, Monitor Media's Managing Director. "It's exciting to be doing this for such a prestigious company and, since this follows a couple of smaller projects for the same team, we warmly welcome Land Securities as a client."
