Following a successful trial, leading insurer NIG, part of the Royal Bank of Scotland group, has launched Online Cover Notes to all UK brokers. The web application, developed entirely by Monitor Media, represents a new and improved way for brokers to provide cover notes to their motor clients. In addition to saving time. the benefits for brokers include a professional looking output (with full previews) together with an online tracking facility allowing brokers to review earlier documentation.
So comprehensive is the functionality that NIG plans to stop accepting manual cover notes altogether, as soon as January 2007. Accessed exclusively through NIG's online broker extranet (also produced and maintained by Monitor Media), this initiative is just the latest addition to NIG Network, a powerful resource provided for the benefit of all NIG's UK brokers.
